Jonathan Kuminga’s state of affairs with the Golden State Warriors is not sustainable at this level.

Kuminga has piled up DNPs after beginning the primary 12 video games of the season. A few of these absences have been as a consequence of an alleged harm, though there could be extra to that story than what’s been mentioned.

Based on a report by The Athletic’s Marcus Thompson II, Sam Amick and Nick Friedell, some sources inside the Warriors even assume he wasn’t actually damage when he missed video games with a again harm.

Some Warriors members reportedly consider Jonathan Kuminga wasn’t actually damage

“Kuminga’s absence actually raised some eyebrows throughout the league, and frustration inside the Warriors’ group. A number of workforce sources mentioned they think Kuminga wasn’t really damage,” read the report. “‘I wouldn’t have performed both,’ mentioned one Warriors participant, given anonymity in alternate for candor. ‘It’s clear the coach doesn’t consider in him.'”

Kuminga, who became eligible for a trade on Jan. 15, has reportedly demanded a commerce. The Warriors’ reluctance to let him go reveals a significant disconnect between the entrance workplace, Steve Kerr and what the workforce really wants.

Even when they can’t get equal value in return for a former lottery participant, he isn’t giving them something on the court docket. If something, he is being a significant distraction within the locker room.

The entrance workplace has been hesitant to make huge strikes involving its younger gamers or its draft picks, figuring out that it’s going to battle within the post-Stephen Curry period.

Paradoxically, that strategy is what’s actively sabotaging the twilight years of Curry’s prime. It is time to pull the plug, whatever the return.
