I learn with curiosity the FYI Man’s column on Tesla overtaking Subaru as probably the most overrepresented automobile in Seattle. After I purchased my Mannequin 3 in 2019, it was only a plasticky sedan with shoddy construct high quality and terrifyingly dangerous “self-driving” options — redeemed solely by its strong battery life. However as we speak, it’s one thing far worse: the non-public money machine of the world’s richest man, fueling his mission to dismantle our 249-year-old democracy and entrench a worldwide oligarchy that may impoverish generations for his personal achieve.
How unusual that one of many “bluest” states is so eagerly funding this insanity. Seattle, it’s time to get up. Ditch the Tesla. Defy the oligarchs.
