    Fyre Competition founder Billy McFarland, who was launched from federal prison in 2022 after serving 4 years behind bars for crimes associated to the occasion, watched his model promote on eBay for $245,300.

    Bloomberg notes that the successful bid was solely 0.9% of the $26 million McFarland has been ordered to pay in restitution.

    The sale, which lasted every week, consists of rights to the IP, logos, and social media accounts. There have been 175 bids in complete from 42 bidders, with the ultimate bid coming simply earlier than 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

    McFarland did not disclose who the customer was, however laughed when he noticed the identify, per NBC Information.
