    Tusk and Portuguese President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, will give speeches on the ceremony that inaugurates Poland’s rotating presidency of the European Union for the subsequent six months.

    Hungary held the presidency through the second half of 2024, and Orbán used the workplace to attempt to promote a peace settlement within the Struggle in Ukraine.
