    Re: “Restricting sleeping in public won’t end homelessness” (Feb. 11, Opinion):

    The editorial criticized cities which have banned sleeping outdoors in parks, close to faculties, day care facilities and libraries. Undergirding the general public demand for such legal guidelines are the progressive left’s insurance policies (defund the police, tender on private accountability, homeless “rights” over civic order and so forth.,) which are seen as a significant reason behind the homeless disaster.

    Individuals are uninterested in open drug use, excessive crime charges, graffiti, closing companies, tolerance of shoplifting, transit security and poor police response instances. “Housing first” won’t succeed until legal guidelines limiting habits are handed concurrently.
