    Re: “IRS acting commissioner is resigning over deal to send immigrants’ tax data to ICE, AP sources say” (April 8, Nation):

    I love the integrity and braveness of Melanie Krause, who resigned as IRS performing director in response to the choice to permit Immigration and Customs Enforcement entry to immigrant employees tax information.

    How cynical to punish individuals who legally and dutifully filed a tax assertion, even inspired by the federal government to take action, who at the moment are particularly put in jeopardy so ICE can simply monitor them for deportation.
