    CINCINNATI, Ohio: A person who broke home windows at Vice President JD Vance’s Ohio dwelling and brought on different property injury was detained early on Monday (Jan 5), the US Secret Service stated.

    The person was detained shortly after midnight by Secret Service brokers assigned to Vance’s dwelling, east of downtown Cincinnati, company spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi stated in a press release emailed to The Related Press. He has not been named.

    The Secret Service heard a loud noise on the dwelling round midnight and located an individual who had damaged a window with a hammer and was attempting to get into the home, in keeping with two regulation enforcement officers who weren’t publicly authorised to debate the investigation into what occurred and spoke on the situation of anonymity. 

    The person had additionally vandalised a Secret Service car on his manner up the house’s driveway, one of many officers stated.

    The house, within the Walnut Hills neighbourhood on hills overlooking town, was unoccupied on the time, and Vance and his household weren’t in Ohio, Guglielmi stated.
