    A brand new report from Business Insider claims that Microsoft is contemplating formal metrics for evaluating how a lot workers use AI through the workday.

    The outlet seen an electronic mail from Julia Liuson, president of the developer division at Microsoft, which advised managers to incorporate time spent utilizing inner AI instruments, each in-house and from the competitors, in worker efficiency opinions.

    AI use at work is already on the rise. This week, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff told Bloomberg that AI was dealing with half of all work at his firm.

    AI is caring for “30% to 50% of the work at Salesforce now,” Benioff said.

    In the meantime, a new report from SignalFire, a enterprise capital agency that displays the job actions of over 650 million workers on LinkedIn, discovered that advances in AI have already led massive tech corporations to scale back the hiring of latest graduates (down 25% from 2023 to 2024).
