    The Trump administration has drafted a proposal to deploy 1,000 Louisiana Nationwide Guard troops to conduct regulation enforcement operations within the state’s city centres, the Washington Publish reported on Saturday (Sep 13), citing Pentagon planning paperwork.

    President Donald Trump has sought to make crime a central issue whilst violent crime charges have fallen in lots of United States cities. His crackdown on Democratic-led municipalities has spurred protests, together with a demonstration by several thousand people in Washington DC final weekend.

    The memo states the plan would permit the navy to complement regulation enforcement in cities resembling New Orleans and Baton Rouge, the report mentioned.
