The general public rift over the way forward for African Youngsters Charity Sentebale has once more escalated, with an unsightly change of accusations between the Chairwoman Sophie Chandauka and the group founder Prince Harry – who resigned from the charity together with co-founder the Prince of Lesotho and the entire board of Trustees.
On the one hand, the Zimbabwean lawyer Chandauka is accusing Harry of getting despatched her an ‘disagreeable’ message after she refused defend Meghan Markle within the press.
New York Post reported:
“The Duke of Sussex, 40, reportedly demanded Chandauka to ‘clarify herself’ after she declined to subject a press release supporting his spouse when their polo match pressure made headlines in April 2024.
Video of the awkward change confirmed the ‘Fits’ alum, 43, transfer Chandauka away from Harry as she clutched a trophy throughout a photograph op.”

“Because the tense second made rounds on social media, Harry had his staff ask the previous world COO of Morgan Stanley’s shared providers and banking operations to ‘subject some form of a press release in assist’ of Markle, sources instructed the Telegraph.
‘I knew what would occur if I did so, primary. And quantity two, as a result of we can’t be an extension of the Sussexes’, Chandauka mentioned of her determination to not subject a press release when requested.”
Harry’s word to the lawyer was reportedly ‘disagreeable’ and ‘included imperious language’.
A Sentebale spokesman confirmed that there’s a doc proving the ‘bullying’.
Within the meantime, sources ‘near the trustees’ (i.e. Prince Harry) are accusing the Chairwoman of ‘taking part in the race card’ to keep up management of the group.
The Telegraph reported:
“A supply near the trustees, who resigned en masse this month alongside the Duke of Sussex and his co-founder Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, claimed Ms. Chandauka, a Zimbabwe-born lawyer, alleged racism when she realized issues weren’t going her approach.
“’She’s positively taking part in the race card and brazenly’, the supply mentioned. ‘That is her plan. As quickly as anybody turns in opposition to her, she brings the race card in and she or he comes for you’.”
When the Sentebale board demanded Chandauka to resign, she appealed to the Excessive Court docket, prompting mass resignations.
