For the second 12 months in a row, Shane van Gisbergen will lead the NASCAR Xfinity Sequence subject to the inexperienced flag on the streets of Chicago.
The defending winner of The Loop 110 received the pole for Saturday’s race with a lap of 90.085 seconds. Van Gisbergen was additionally quickest in Saturday’s Xfinity Sequence practice session.
Austin Hill, Sam Mayer, Sheldon Creed and Jack Perkins rounded out the highest 5, with defending Xfinity Sequence champion Justin Allgaier, William Sawalich, Nick Sanchez, Jesse Love and Sammy Smith finishing the highest 10.
Different notable qualifying efforts embody Preston Pardus in twelfth, Carson Kvapil in thirteenth, Harrison Burton in fifteenth, Josh Bilicki in twenty fifth and Jeb Burton in twenty seventh.
Kris Wright and Sage Karam each did not qualify for the race. Karam’s No. 53 had mechanical points in apply. In the meantime, Wright — who’s the full-time driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet for Our Motorsports — will miss a race for the primary time in 2025.
Connor Zilisch, Christian Eckes, Taylor Grey and Ryan Sieg didn’t make a qualifying try after issues in apply.
The Loop 110 will go inexperienced shortly after 4:30 p.m. ET, with protection on the CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Van Gisbergen is the defending winner.
