GOP Congressman Clay Higgins pressured a censure vote on LaMonica McIver after she was charged with assaulting federal brokers at an ICE facility in Might.

In June, a federal grand jury returned a 3-count indictment charging Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver with forcibly impeding and interfering with federal regulation enforcement officers on the Delaney Corridor detention middle in Newark.
