Starmer needs to silence dissent and fleece US tech firms.
The UK, underneath unpopular Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer, continues to descend into totalitarianism, with the censorship now going into overdrive with their new On-line Security Act.
However British press is reporting that the White Home has warned Starmer to ‘cease threatening American tech firms’ because the pushback towards Britain’s ‘on-line security regulation’ is rising.
Trump’s staff is monitoring the On-line Security Act with ‘nice curiosity and concern’ because it has been branded censorship of free speech ‘imposing unfair burdens’ on US tech trade.
The Telegraph reported:
“The regulation, which regulates on-line speech, permits the British authorities to levy large fines on firms like Apple, Fact Social, and X if it finds that guidelines on hate speech have been damaged.”

“’President Trump has made it clear that free speech is one in all our most cherished freedoms as People’, a senior US State Division official advised The Telegraph.
‘Accordingly, we’ve got taken decisive motion towards international actors who’ve engaged in extraterritorial censorship affecting our firms and fellow residents. We’ll proceed to observe developments within the UK with nice curiosity and concern’.”

This horrible state overreach is known within the US as ‘a menace by the UK to silence American firms and residents’.
“Below the regulation, social media giants face fines of as much as £18m ($24m), or 10 per cent of their annual income, in the event that they fail to take away content material deemed dangerous from their platforms.”
Evidently, platforms shall be pressured to censor content material that’s completely authorized and constitutionally protected.
