Re: “As Trump and Musk tear through democracy, we can’t just stand by” (Feb. 7, Editorials)
The inauguration of the President Donald Trump/Elon Musk regime jogs my memory of that saying by British International Secretary Sir Edward Gray on Britain’s declaration of battle in World Struggle I. He mentioned, “The lamps are going out throughout Europe; we will not see them lit once more in our lifetime.”
The unlawful actions by Trump and Musk have doused many lamps in our nation, which shall not be relit for a technology.
