    President Donald Trump stated that he likes the concept of giving among the financial savings from Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency again to U.S. citizens as a form of dividend.
    He stated at an funding convention in Miami on Wednesday that the administration is contemplating an idea during which 20% of the financial savings produced by DOGE’s cost-cutting efforts goes to Americans and one other 20% goes to paying down the nationwide debt.
    Trump additionally stated the potential for dividend funds would incentivize individuals to report wasteful spending.
    “They’ll be reporting it themselves,” Trump stated. “They take part within the technique of saving us cash.”
    Later, as he flew again to Washington aboard Air Power One, he was requested by a reporter concerning the plan floated by Musk.
    “I adore it,” the Republican president instructed reporters on the airplane.
    A day earlier, Musk wrote on his social media platform that he “will test with the President” in response to a suggestion that Trump and Musk ought to announce a “DOGE Dividend” that will ship a refund to taxpayers from a part of the financial savings created by DOGE.
