    WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump mentioned on Monday (Aug 11) that each Ukraine and Russia would wish to cede land to one another to finish the warfare, including that his upcoming talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin would gauge whether or not a deal was attainable.

    Talking at a White Home press convention, Trump mentioned his assembly with Putin in Alaska on Friday can be a “feel-out” session to evaluate the Russian chief’s willingness to make peace.

    “I’m moving into to talk to Vladimir Putin, and I’m going to be telling him, you’ve received to finish this warfare,” Trump informed reporters. “You’ve received to finish it.”

    POSSIBLE THREE-WAY MEETING

    Trump mentioned a future assembly may contain Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and will change into a three-way session together with himself and Putin. He added that he deliberate to talk with European leaders shortly after his talks with Putin, with the objective of securing a speedy ceasefire.

    The US president has floated the concept of land swaps earlier than, however neither Kyiv nor Moscow has expressed willingness to cede territory. European governments have warned that main concessions to Russia may create long-term safety dangers for the West.
