    Issues are wanting robust for Virginia Tech on the 2026 recruiting path.

    Head coach Brent Pry’s 2025 class is ranked No. 48 within the nation, which is nothing to jot down house about. Now, his 2026 class simply misplaced its high recruit.

    Carnell Warren is a four-star broad receiver from Bluffton, South Carolina, who had been dedicated to VT for the reason that second day of January.

    That is a dedication that not stands, as Warren introduced Thursday on social media that he is opening his recruitment again up.

    “After lengthy ideas and consideration, I am opening my recruitment again up. I wanna thank everybody in Blacksburg for the whole lot, it means rather a lot,” he wrote on X, the platform previously often called Twitter.
