    The neighbours have agreed to an instantaneous ceasefire after every week of cross-border violence.

    Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to cease preventing, after talks within the Qatari capital, Doha.

    Cross-border violence up to now week or so marked essentially the most critical escalation since 2021, when the Taliban returned to energy in Afghanistan.

    Islamabad accuses Kabul of harbouring fighters from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, an armed group that’s stepped up assaults in Pakistan. Afghanistan’s Taliban leaders deny the accusations.

    Mediators say the foundations have been laid for long-term peace. However what are the ensures? And the way does the battle play out regionally?
