Spring breakers in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, held unlawful boxing matches over the weekend – with cryptocurrency bets.
A bystander who recorded the seaside boxing matches advised NBC Miami that he noticed college students working towards a circle of individuals on the seaside and overheard bystanders taking bets with crypto.
“Why aren’t they taking part in soccer? One thing that’s not going to get folks injured,” Joshua Pettus advised NBC Miami.
“I began listening to any individual taking bets they usually had been doing it with crypto,” Pettus stated.
Pettus stated he started recording after he noticed spring breakers placed on boxing gloves.
“Boxing gloves got here out, the ring obtained greater, and I knew the combat was going to begin,” Pettus stated.
Women and men participated within the boxing matches. Ladies in bikinis placed on boxing gloves and threw punches at one another as the group cheered them on.
Fort Lauderdale Police broke up the fights.
