    TEHRAN: Iran has expanded entry to its airspace for worldwide overflights following a ceasefire with Israel, although flight restrictions remain in place throughout a lot of the nation, an official mentioned Saturday (Jun 28).

    “Along with the jap half of the nation’s airspace being out there for home, worldwide and overflight operations, the airspace over the central and western components of the nation has now additionally been opened just for worldwide overflights,” Majid Akhavan, spokesman for the Ministry of Roads and City Growth, mentioned in an announcement carried by the IRNA state information company.

    Flights to and from airports within the north, south and west of the nation, together with Tehran’s Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini worldwide airports, remained suspended, based on Akhavan.

    “All fellow residents are requested to not go to airports positioned within the northern, southern and western areas of the nation,” he mentioned, urging travellers to observe updates via official sources solely.
