    WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump on Thursday (Aug 7) stated he’ll nominate Council of Financial Advisers chairman Stephen Miran to function a Federal Reserve governor.

    Miran would substitute Fed governor Adriana Kugler, who introduced her shock resignation final week to return to her tenured professorship at Georgetown College.

    The time period expires on Jan 31, 2026, and the appointment is topic to Senate approval.
