    Re: “Federal agents arrest 2 on crew battling the state’s largest blaze” (Aug. 28, A1) and “Inside the fight to slow the Bear Gulch fire” (Aug. 24, A1):

    Days after the story on the heroic crews engaged on the Bear Gulch Fireplace, there’s a story about how a few of these heroes have been arrested by federal legislation enforcement brokers.

    As an Olympic Peninsula resident, I’m outraged. I’d fairly have my tax {dollars} pay for firefighting than for U.S. Border Patrol brokers to arrest firefighters.
