    NEW YORK: A divided US appeals court docket dominated on Friday (Aug 29) that almost all of Donald Trump’s tariffs are unlawful, undercutting the Republican president’s use of the levies as a key worldwide financial coverage device.

    The 7-4 resolution from the US Courtroom of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, DC, addressed the legality of what Trump calls “reciprocal” tariffs imposed as a part of his commerce battle in April, in addition to a separate set of tariffs imposed in February in opposition to China, Canada and Mexico.
