President Donald Trump was knowledgeable for the primary time that his disgraced former Nationwide Safety Adviser John Bolton had simply been indicted by a federal grand jury in Maryland for mishandling categorized data, and Trump’s response was basic.
When a reporter broke the information, Trump appeared genuinely stunned.
Reporter: “You had been simply indicted by a grand jury in Maryland. Do you will have a response to that?”
Trump: “I didn’t know that. You inform me for the primary time, however I believe he’s a foul individual.”
Trump continued, repeating his disdain for Bolton a number of occasions:
“I believe he’s a foul man. Yeah, he’s a foul man. Too unhealthy, however that’s the way in which it goes. That’s the way in which it goes, proper?”
When pressed if he had reviewed the case, Trump responded merely:
“No, I haven’t. However I simply suppose he’s a foul individual.”

Bolton’s indictment follows a months-long Division of Justice investigation into allegations he mishandled and transmitted categorized nationwide safety supplies through his personal AOL electronic mail server throughout his tenure as Nationwide Safety Adviser from 2018 to 2019.
As brokers executed search warrants in August at his Maryland residence and at his Washington, D.C. workplace, they seized computer systems, telephones, USB drives, and paperwork bearing the labels “secret,” “confidential,” and “categorized.”
If convicted, Bolton may resist ten years in federal jail for every cost of unlawfully transmitting categorized data.
