Re: “Don’t count on regime change to stabilize Venezuela” (Nov. 16, Opinion):

America by no means learns. That’s all I can say about President Donald Trump’s newest tried distraction from his Jeffrey Epstein woes.

Attacking Venezuela to overthrow the regime of Nicolas Maduro can be one other idiot’s errand of American overseas coverage. The thought of eradicating Maduro will blow up in our faces and trigger additional chaos in an already dysfunctional society.

Venezuelans stream in another country heading north to America and attacking that nation will solely enhance the outflow of refugees.

Even with failures in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and plenty of different international locations, America’s try to affect has not taught American warmongers any helpful classes.

Repeating the identical errors again and again however anticipating a special consequence is an ideal definition of madness.
