    I’m a retired state legislator. Began in 1982; retired in 2010. My first finances was $10 million; the state inhabitants was 4 million.

    In 2026 the state finances is $80.2 million and the inhabitants is greater than 8 million. We nonetheless have the identical quantity legislative days.

    I want our leaders would look beneath their legislative hood and do some tinkering “if wanted.”
