    Re: “WA age verification bill targets access to online adult content” (Jan. 17, Native Information):

    It’s disappointing to see the ACLU devoting time and sources to opposing Home Invoice 2112, which might require age verification for on-line porn entry.

    As an early childhood educator, I do know that the typical age of publicity to this misogynistic and sometimes violent materials is 8 years previous. Our kids aren’t in a position to develop a wholesome sense of bodily autonomy and sexuality with unfettered entry to porn. These websites must be chargeable for establishing safe entry to age verification, as produce other on-line sources.

    Please, progressives, let’s concentrate on constructing a safer, extra wholesome future for our youngsters and our democracy at this essential time in our historical past.
