I not too long ago acquired an e mail from Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson with a hyperlink to a Renter’s Survey. Not a foul thought, however as a small landlord (two single-family properties) in Seattle, why aren’t landlords requested for his or her enter into considerations with the Seattle rental market? The town has a Renters’ Fee, once more dealing solely with renters’ considerations, when it needs to be a Rental Fee, with each events on the desk.

We landlords wish to assist be a part of the housing resolution, however Seattle is intent on labeling all landlords as evil and passing onerous rules over the previous few years. These rules have led to the sale of rental property, particularly single-family homes, leading to fewer models for lease. That’s not serving to the rental housing drawback in Seattle.
