Whereas the Houston Astros have seen their American League West Division lead shrink to a half-game over the hard-charging Seattle Mariners, they’ve managed to take action with a makeshift pitching rotation.

The Astros have had quite a few beginning pitchers, starting from Lance McCullers Jr. to Luis Garcia, out of motion with accidents. However the group revealed after beating the New York Yankees 7-1 on Sunday that one other pitcher will return to the rotation.

Cristian Javier, who has been out of motion since final season, will get the beginning on Monday evening when the Astros open a three-game collection in opposition to the Boston Crimson Sox at Daikin Park in Houston, according to Leah Vann of Chron.com. Whereas Javier’s return will get highlighted, a few different gamers are going to be within the highlight, too.

Monday’s sport would be the first time that Carlos Correa has performed in entrance of the Astros fan base since being acquired from the Minnesota Twins. Correa will play third base and have the ability to look out from the Astros’ dugout and see a pleasant face there for Boston.
