    Re: “Is this the year Seattle goes socialist? It’s sure looking that way” (Sept. 13, Native Information):

    No matter the political leanings of any would-be mayoral or Metropolis Council candidate (and we thank them for a willingness to serve the neighborhood), each certainly one of them elected needs to be required to spend their first two weeks shadowing and actually listening to small enterprise homeowners of their constituencies. Then they will clearly perceive the challenges of operating a enterprise, and what it takes to make payroll and prosper (and, subsequently, pay tax) in a closely regulated enterprise setting.

    A neighborhood can solely thrive if the companies that serve our neighborhoods can also afford to prosper.
