    QUITO: Ecuador on Tuesday (Jan 27) denounced what it mentioned was an tried incursion by US immigration brokers into the South American nation’s consulate within the flashpoint metropolis of Minneapolis.

    The federal government of Daniel Noboa, one among Washington’s closest allies in Latin America, despatched a letter of protest to the US embassy in Quito relating to the incident, the international ministry mentioned in an announcement.

    The ministry demanded that “acts of this nature not be repeated in any of Ecuador’s consular workplaces in america”.
