PORTO GERMENO: A whole bunch of firefighters in Greece on Saturday (Aug 1) have been battling to avoid wasting a preferred coastal resort northwest of Athens as violent winds lashed the nation, hampering operations.
Greater than 400 firefighters, backed by a number of dozen specialised plane, have been battling blazes within the space of Porto Germeno, some 70km northwest of Athens, the fireplace division stated.
