Ford is increasing manufacturing of their Lincoln autos within the United States, including hundreds of jobs and decreasing reliance on Chinese language imports.
The automaker stated the transfer will “additional strengthen Ford’s place as America’s No. 1 auto producer,” per an Aug. 12 report from CNBC.
The transfer is anticipated to deliver “hundreds of direct and oblique U.S. jobs” as extra Lincoln fashions are manufactured domestically.
“Lincoln is a quintessentially American model, and Ford is America’s automaker,” Ford CEO Jim Farley stated in an announcement.
