    Reliever David Robertson has been one of many sport’s greatest relievers for 17 seasons and has now determined to name it a profession. 

    Saying the information on Friday, Robertson thanked all of the organizations he performed for: the New York Yankees, the Philadelphia Phillies, each the Chicago Cubs and White Sox, the Texas Rangers, the New York Mets, the Miami Marlins, and the Tampa Bay Rays, however above all, his household.

    Robertson was initially drafted by the Yankees within the seventeenth spherical of the 2006 MLB Draft and made his main league debut two years later in 2008 at 23. Robertson’s greatest season got here in 2011 when he made his solely All-Star group and completed eleventh within the Cy Younger voting, going 4-0 with a 1.08 ERA in 70 video games (66.2 innings).
