    GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke stepped down on Monday after 4 years with the corporate.

    In a post on LinkedIn, he thanked Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and others whereas saying he was leaving to get again to his entrepreneurial roots. (GitHub, a platform for software program builders to retailer and share code, is owned by Microsoft).

    “After practically 4 years as CEO, I am leaving GitHub to turn out to be a startup founder once more,” Dohmke wrote on LinkedIn.

    Whereas Dohmke did not elaborate on his future entrepreneurial plans, he did clarify extra about why he’s leaving the day-to-day company world for entrepreneurship in a blog post.
