QUESTION: Do you not see the vanity in Trump renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America? That is outrageous.

    FJ

ANSWER: Look, I perceive individuals say they’re American, that means they’re from the USA. Traditionally, it was named the Gulf of Mexico as a result of the Spanish owned nearly all the pieces from Florida to Texas, apart from Louisiana, which Thomas Jefferson bought from the French. We reside in North America, which incorporates Mexico and Canada, after which there may be South America. Technically, renaming the Gulf of Mexico from when it was all Mexico to the Gulf of America will not be the Gulf of the USA. It’s correct as a result of “America” will not be formally the USA of America.

    Vespucci Amerigo

America is known as after Amerigo Vespucci, the Italian explorer who set forth the then-revolutionary idea that the lands that Christopher Columbus sailed to in 1492 have been a part of a separate continent. Columbus thought he discovered India, which is why we name the indigenous individuals American Indians. To say Trump is being conceited is questionable. The Gulf of America might be extra correct since that is all of North America. Calling it the Guld of the USA or one thing like that may be conceited.
