    GAZA CITY, Palestinian Territories: Hamas officers expressed shock on Saturday (Jul 26) at US President Donald Trump’s accusation that the group “did not really need” a ceasefire and hostage release deal for Gaza.

    Trump made the allegation of Friday a day after Israel and america give up oblique negotiations with Hamas in Qatar that had lasted practically three weeks.

    “Trump’s remarks are notably stunning, particularly as they arrive at a time when progress had been made on a number of the negotiation information,” Hamas official Taher al-Nunu instructed AFP.

    “Up to now, we’ve not been knowledgeable of any points concerning the information underneath dialogue within the oblique ceasefire negotiations”, he added

    Nunu, who’s near Hamas’s most senior political officers, mentioned he was “stunned” that Israel and america had left the talks.

    Saying the recall of US mediators on Thursday, Trump’s particular envoy Steve Witkoff accused Hamas of not “appearing in good religion”.
