TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian referred to as on Iranians on Saturday (Apr 25) to preserve electrical energy, warning that whereas there have been no shortages at current, the US and Israel aimed to sow “dissatisfaction” among the many Iranian folks.

“We’ve requested our pricey folks, who are actually prepared and current on the bottom, a easy request. And that’s to scale back their very own electrical energy and power consumption,” the president mentioned on state TV.

“We don’t want folks to sacrifice in the interim, however we do want to manage consumption. As a substitute of 10 lights, two lights must be turned on in the home – what’s unsuitable with that?” he added.

Regardless of the US-Israeli bombing marketing campaign in opposition to Iran, there have been no reported energy cuts in Tehran in latest days.

Pezeshkian accused Iran’s enemies of hitting infrastructure and imposing a blockade “in order that the present satisfaction turns into dissatisfaction”.
