    KFAR MAAS, ISRAEL: Two hostages whose our bodies have been recovered from Gaza final week have been buried in Israel on Monday (Sep 1) in separate ceremonies attended by household and pals.

    The stays of Idan Shtivi, 28, and Ilan Weiss, 56, have been returned on Friday, almost 23 months after they have been each killed within the Hamas-led assault of Oct 7, 2023.

His mom, Dalit, wept in her eulogy, asking her son to “forgive me for not having the ability to defend and maintain you secure.” His coffin was draped with an Israeli flag.
