    There are an estimated 500,000 Israelis amongst roughly 3 million Palestinians within the occupied West Financial institution. Palestinians have for years reported vandalism, injury to farmland, and assaults linked with settlement expansion.

    A United Nations inquiry final month reported that Israeli settler assaults on Palestinian villages and agricultural land had surged since 2023 by ⁠130 %.
