    Worldwide Federation of Crimson Cross and Crimson Crescent Societies chief on US help cuts, assaults on help staff and whether or not neutrality can survive fashionable wars.

    As wars intensify and donor funding dries up, the worldwide humanitarian system is underneath unprecedented pressure. Jagan Chapagain, secretary-general of the Worldwide Federation of Crimson Cross and Crimson Crescent Societies, warns that life-saving operations are being scaled again simply as wants explode from Gaza and Sudan to Ukraine and climate-driven disasters worldwide.
