    SYDNEY: Japan’s defence minister stated on Tuesday (Aug 18) that cooperation with South Korea and america was “crucial” to regional safety, after US President Donald Trump seeded doubts within the Pacific area by downsizing joint drills with Seoul.

    Talking throughout a go to to Australia, Shinjiro Koizumi got here out strongly in assist of joint safety cooperation with its key defence backer Washington, and neighbour Seoul.
