Iran’s former overseas minister argues Israel, backed by the US, has killed each alternative for peace.
Months after being attacked by america and Israel, Iran finds itself within the crosshairs once more, with Israeli officers lobbying US President Donald Trump to handle Tehran’s ballistic missiles.
Veteran Iranian diplomat Javad Zarif tells host Steve Clemons that “all people misplaced any religion in diplomacy” after Israel and the US attacked Iran following 5 rounds of reconciliation talks between Washington and Tehran.
Zarif added that Israel has traditionally thwarted each alternative for reconciliation between Iran and the US, and that Trump’s type of diplomacy is disastrous, because it creates “negotiations that find yourself in conflict”.
