This previous season, the Ravens went 8-9 and missed the playoffs after shedding 26-24 to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18.

Harbaugh clearly did not capitalize on his window with star quarterback Lamar Jackson, however groups will ignore that. He is the clear No. 1 candidate within the hiring cycle and may have his decide of the litter.

Why John Harbaugh is now the last word teaching free agent

Harbaugh is probably the most achieved coach on this hiring cycle, which does not characteristic an offensive wizard like Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson or grasp motivator in New England Patriots HC Mike Vrabel. He ranks fourth amongst energetic coaches in wins and 14th all-time (180), via Pro Football Reference.
