    LONDON: Britain’s MI5 safety service issued a brand new warning to lawmakers on Tuesday (Nov 18) about makes an attempt by Chinese language brokers to gather data and affect exercise, its newest accusation that Beijing is making an attempt to spy on the nation’s parliament.

    Lawmakers have been advised Chinese language spies have been focusing on them by posing as headhunters or corporations to make contact, with two people reaching out on LinkedIn to “conduct outreach at scale on behalf” of the Chinese language authorities.

    SPYING CASE COLLAPSED IN SEPTEMBER

    The brand new warning comes after British prosecutors deserted a case in September towards two British males charged with spying on members of parliament for China, saying the British authorities had not offered clear proof to point out that Beijing was a menace to its nationwide safety.
