Re: “King County GOP: Why resist National Guard in Seattle?” (Nov. 7, Opinion):
There is no such thing as a want for Nationwide Guard troops in Seattle, or every other metropolis. Many cities with excessive crime charges are in Republican-led states, however there was no effort by President Donald Trump to handle it. If Trump and Republicans had been actually all for lowering crime, they’d applicable extra funds for native police and prosecutors as a substitute of getting the Nationwide Guard raking leaves in Washington, D.C.

Trump’s efforts are nothing greater than an try to stifle authentic protest and opposition to his tyrannical abuses of energy. Disgrace on Republicans.

    Ken Kroemer, Seattle
