We had an opportunity to see columnist and writer Dave Barry Tuesday evening at City Corridor Seattle. His fantastic wit and humorousness made us notice how a lot we miss him and others (together with Erma Bombeck, Artwork Buchwald) within the paper. Barry reminded us how costly it’s to a newspaper’s price range to have these sort of columns within the paper anymore.

In right now’s divided world, how refreshing it will be to have columns that included shared humor and customary floor, and haven’t any political or hateful rhetoric. A nostalgic thought.

    Susan Mise, Seattle
