    Paramilitary Group in Sudan Agrees to Stop-Fireplace Proposal

    The paramilitary group Speedy Assist Forces agreed to a cease-fire proposal after rising condemnation of atrocities in Darfur. Sudan’s army reiterated its dedication to defeat the R.S.F. via pressure, displaying no signal of agreeing to the proposal.

    “Because the R.S.F. made a serious incursion into the town on the twenty third of October, we’ve got obtained horrendous quantities of abstract executions, mass killings, rapes, assaults towards returning staff, looting, abductions and compelled displacement.”

    The paramilitary group Speedy Assist Forces agreed to a cease-fire proposal after rising condemnation of atrocities in Darfur. Sudan’s army reiterated its dedication to defeat the R.S.F. via pressure, displaying no signal of agreeing to the proposal.
