Paramilitary Group in Sudan Agrees to Stop-Fireplace Proposal

The paramilitary group Speedy Assist Forces agreed to a cease-fire proposal after rising condemnation of atrocities in Darfur. Sudan’s army reiterated its dedication to defeat the R.S.F. via pressure, displaying no signal of agreeing to the proposal.
