    Re: “Journalists turn in access badges, exit Pentagon rather than agree to new reporting rules” (Oct. 15, Nation):

    It was heartening to learn of press unity in leaving the Pentagon as a physique collectively.

    Disturbing although, to know what prompted this: new shortsighted insurance policies, particularly from the chief of the “Division of Struggle.”

    Shakespeare’s phrases from “A Midsummer Evening’s Dream” appear well-fitting: “Hardhanded males that work in Athens right here, Which by no means labored of their minds until now.”
